- Open house at Klysgården.
- Pony riding with Ludvika Ridklubb, 14.00–16.00.
- Circus school with Ludvika Minicirkus.
- Spendrups is offering soft drinks to the children.
- Associations, organisations, and political parties display their activities.
- Also visit the café, the herb garden and the mineral museum.

- 15.00 Musical entertainment by Kulturskolan.
- 15.50 Ludvika Musikkår marches into the courtyard.
16.00 Celebration program
- Flypast by Ludvika Flygklubb.
- Ceremonial speech by Henrik Hammargren, Chair of Företagarna Ludvika.
- The national anthem, accompanied by Musikkåren.
- Musical entertainment by Marcus Leu.
- Speech to new Swedish citizens by Anna-Lena Andersson, Chair of the Municipal Council.
- Dance performance by Sampoorna Academy.
- Ludvika Minicirkus.

The National Day of Sweden
The 6th of June holds special significance for Sweden. On this day, several important events have taken place.
6 June 1523
Gustav Vasa is elected King of Sweden. Sweden becomes an independent country.
6 June 1809
Sweden adopts a new Instrument of Government. It remained in effect for a long time and was only replaced in 1974.
6 June 1916
The name ”Svenska flaggans dag” is added to the calendar. The blue and yellow flag has been in existence since the 15th century.
6 June 1983
The date officially becomes Sweden’s National Day. The day is celebrated in memory of Gustav Vasa’s election as king in 1523 and the 1809 Instrument of Government.
6 June 2005
The National Day of Sweden becomes an official public holiday and a ”red day” in the calendar.
