- Pony riding with Ludvika Ridklubb, 13.00–15.00.
- Circus school with Ludvika Minicirkus.
- The café in Sporthallen is open.
- Open house at the fire station in Ludvika, 13.00–16.00.
- Spendrups is offering soft drinks (Smil) to the children.

- Speech to new Swedish citizens by Anna-Lena Andersson, chair of the municipal council.
- Ludvika Minicirkus.
- Also visit the café, the herb garden and the mineral museum.
- Bring your own chair.
- Join the parade! Feel free to wear folk costumes from Sweden and around the world.
The National Day of Sweden
The 6th of June holds special significance for Sweden. On this day, several important events have taken place.
6 June 1523
Gustav Vasa is elected King of Sweden. Sweden becomes an independent country.
6 June 1809
Sweden adopts a new Instrument of Government. It remained in effect for a long time and was only replaced in 1974.
6 June 1916
The name ”Svenska flaggans dag” is added to the calendar. The blue and yellow flag has been in existence since the 15th century.
6 June 1983
The date officially becomes Sweden’s National Day. The day is celebrated in memory of Gustav Vasa’s election as king in 1523 and the 1809 Instrument of Government.
6 June 2005
The National Day of Sweden becomes an official public holiday and a ”red day” in the calendar.
