Welcome Anna och Mikke

Statistics show that many people are moving to the Municipality of Ludvika, and that's why we think it's great to introduce some of them. Among them are Anna och Mikke.

Welcome to the Municipality of Ludvika, Anna and Mikke Källsved, what brought you here?

– I started working in Ludvika in 2019, after moving from Skellefteå to Falun. The plan then was to live in Falun and commute here. But during the years I’ve worked here, I’ve discovered Ludvika. It’s a wonderfully beautiful environment, and I like the small-town atmosphere. Everything is close by. And I realised that Ludvika felt more like home, says Anna.

Tell us a little about yourselves!

– I work at the property company Kopparstaden. However, on 1 December, I’ll start a new job here in Ludvika. I like hockey, golf, and fishing, says Mikke.

– We moved here in 2018 after our children had left home. Mikke wanted to do something different and applied for a job in Falun. I started working in Ludvika when IT-centre was formed. Now, I’m the HR manager at the Municipality of Ludvika. I’ve felt at home here from day one, says Anna.

What are your impressions of your new home municipality?

– People are incredibly welcoming. It’s so genuine and down to earth here. And with the expansion that’s happening, it doesn’t feel like a risky project to buy a house here. I don’t think people realise what growth phase we’re in. It’s easy to overlook the advantage of having such a secure employer in the municipality.
