Welcome to the Municipality of Ludvika, Christer Strid. What brought you here?

– I previously lived in Smedjebacken for eleven years and then worked and lived in Västerås for ten years. Since the children live here, or rather the young people, it felt natural to move here. I turned to Sakofall, and then everything fell into place, which is really exciting!

Tell us a bit about yourself!

– I’m from Skåne, originally from Helsingborg, and I moved to Dalarna in 2003. Back then, among other things, there was a hockey arena in Leksand that needed fixing. I worked at Peab for many years, and now I’ve got the chance to work at a smaller company, Sakofall Fastigheter. The company wants to grow, which is both exciting and inspiring. I’m a project manager, including for Stora Hillänget.

What are your impressions of your new home municipality?

– I already knew about Ludvika, of course, after so many years in Smedjebacken. I feel that it’s great there’s such a strong sense of optimism here. There’s a positive spirit, and it’s contagious. It’s fun to go to work!
