Welcome Peter

Statistics show that many people are moving to the Municipality of Ludvika, and that's why we think it's great to introduce some of them. One of them is Peter Malosha Mayunga.

Welcome to the Municipality of Ludvika, Peter Malosha Mayunga. What brought you here?

– It was work that brought me here. In July, I started as a maths teacher at Kyrkskolan.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

– I’ve worked as a mathematics teacher for ten years in Strängnäs. We have friends in Borlänge and felt that we wanted to live nearby. My wife is currently studying at SFI and hopes to study at university later.

What are your impressions of your new home municipality?

– I didn’t know much about Ludvika beforehand, but it seems like a good municipality. I enjoy my workplace. I have good principals and colleagues, and together we try to help all children achieve their goals. It’s important to see everyone’s different needs and circumstances.

– I think it’s important to live close to work. We live in Högberget, and from there it’s close to everything: shops, the town centre, but also areas that are nice for walking.
