Welcome to the Municipality of Ludvika,

Sebastian Posso! What brought you here?

– I lived in Argentina but moved here for work and for the quality of life and educational opportunities available. I moved here with my wife and our two children on 11 January this year.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

– I am originally from Ecuador and am a qualified electrical engineer. Here I work as a Software Engineer for HVDC systems at Hitachi Energy. In Ecuador, I worked at ABB as a service engineer, and three years ago I got a job at ABB in Argentina as a project engineer. Then I came here.
– I like sports and do quite a bit of running, especially trail running. But I do have a two-year-old daughter, so of course, a lot of my time is spent with the family.

What are your impressions of your new home municipality?

– I wanted to live in a quiet town with little traffic and noise. Ludvika seems to be a peaceful and safe place. The environment is beautiful with forests and mountains. It’s simply a good place for our children to grow up. What I’m not so keen on at the moment is having to travel to Borlänge for many official matters. It would be better if all those services were available in Ludvika too. Plus, the buses could run a bit more often.
– But I hope to stay here for a long time!
