Welcome to the Municipality of Ludvika, Sofia Helleday. What brought you here?

– Work. When I came here for the interview, it was the first time I’d been to Ludvika.

Tell us a bit about yourself!

– I was born and raised in Eskilstuna and studied International Marketing at Mälardalen University in Västerås. After that, I did an internship in England for a year. Then I worked at a company that sells caravans and motorhomes just outside Eskilstuna. I enjoy cooking, reading and travelling.
– My role at Hitachi Energy is to inform customers about the possibility of servicing or upgrading existing transformers. There’s a high demand for new transformers with long delivery times. My role is new; there was a need for marketing.

What are your impressions of your new home municipality?

– I knew nothing about Ludvika. The first thing I saw on the website was that there’s a strong investment in Ludvika, and you want to move to a place you believe in. I’ve only been here for three months, but it’s clear that there’s a strong focus on the future, and that’s exciting!

– On the day of my interview, I walked around quite a bit. I go a lot by feeling, and it felt good! It was foggy when I arrived, but after the interview it had cleared up and I saw all the lakes. It’s really beautiful and cosy here!
